Welcome to Maison Jewelmer, the First High Jewelry Experience of its Kind

Jewelmer ushers in a new chapter with the opening of Maison Jewelmer, an immersive concept imagined for its most distinguished clients.

Accessed by invitation and appointment only, Maison Jewelmer promises to be the high jewelry brand’s most elegant space yet. Nestled on a penthouse floor in the midst of Makati’s bustling business district, it represents the pinnacle of excellence at Jewelmer.

Conceptualized by Paris-based agency La Meute Design and Communication, Maison Jewelmer bridges the traditional retail space with that of a private house’s. Every corner was designed for guests to discover not only the unparalleled beauty of the golden South Sea pearl, but also the stories of the people, the culture, and the environment that make this precious gem’s existence possible.

It becomes evident that the Maison Jewelmer experience is unlike any other upon walking in, where guests are greeted by golden mother-of-pearl doors, the first of its kind. More than just an entry into the world of Maison Jewelmer, they tell the tales shaped by nature’s rhythms and tides, echoing the harmony between the sea and the sun.

A thoughtful choice of Filipino materials and attention to detail shine throughout Maison Jewelmer, from décor by Cebu-based designers such as Casa Selma and Obra Cebuana, to immersive artwork by French-Filipina artist Olivia d’Aboville. A one-of-a-kind masterpiece by celebrated Chinese national artist Bukuk Chai is inspired by the enchantment of the pearl and the beauty of Palawan. Rare Chinese and Vietnamese treasures from the 15th century, discovered in an ancient shipwreck beneath the depths of Jewelmer’s pearl farm, speak to the brand’s respect for heritage.

Underlining the fine jewelry brand’s French-Filipino roots are vibrant artworks by Thomas Godin, a renowned French painter and printmaker, and a close friend of the Jewelmer family. Showcasing the brand’s connection to Palawan, the home of the South Sea pearl, Godin’s work is inspired by the mindscapes of the Philippine archipelago and his hometown of Brittany, France, where one of Jewelmer’s founders is from.

“Maison Jewelmer is our way of giving back and expressing our gratitude to our clients, who have supported us through these years. We want them to celebrate their personal milestones here, where they can host special events and such. Ultimately, it’s a place where we can give them the service and experience they truly deserve,” shares Jewelmer CEO, Jacques Christophe Branellec.

With Maison Jewelmer reflective of the very essence of Jewelmer — the use of sustainable materials from local designers, the savoir-faire and French artistry behind each fine jewelry creation, and the warmth of Filipino hospitality — the space asserts the brand’s heritage. Indeed, these are the hallmarks of a fine jewelry house committed to the future of sustainable luxury.
